DALF Exam Preparation

The DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) is an official French diploma at the advanced CEFR levels C1 and C2, testing listening, reading, writing and speaking at a proficient level. DALF exam preparation at AIME readies you for these exams; AIME is an independent institute and is not affiliated with the Alliance Française or France Éducation international.

DALF exam preparation is structured around the exam: format drills for C1 and C2, a section-by-section strategy including the synthèse and long oral presentation, timing practice and full mock tests with feedback on writing and speaking. The focus is purely preparation, so the real DALF exam feels familiar on the day.

Our dalf c1 preparation targets the C1 level — argumentative essays, the synthèse of documents, a structured oral presentation and demanding listening and reading. It combines section strategy, model answers and full C1 mock tests with detailed feedback on writing and speaking.

Our dalf c2 preparation targets near-native mastery — the integrated written production and the long oral dossier that combine comprehension and expression. Preparation drills each C2 task, builds academic and professional register, and uses full C2 mock tests with personalised feedback.

Candidates register and sit the official DALF exam at an authorised centre run by the Alliance Française or France Éducation international. AIME prepares you and advises on timing and registration, but it does not conduct the official exam itself.

Preparation time depends on your current level and target. Reaching DALF C1 or C2 readiness usually takes several months of focused work from a strong B2 base. A free assessment sets a realistic prep timeline and mock-test schedule toward your exam date.

Yes. A free online demo lets you meet a trainer and see the exam-focused approach, after which you get a DALF exam-prep plan mapping your mock tests and section drills toward your target DALF C1 or C2 exam date.

The pass threshold is set by the official exam bodies and is typically 50 out of 100, with a minimum of 5 out of 25 in each of the four skills, confirmed on their official pages for your level. Preparation targets each section so you clear the mark comfortably, though the result always depends on your exam-day performance.

Preparation uses repeated full-length mock tests and targeted section drills timed to match the real DALF exam. Trainers review each attempt, highlight weak areas and refine your strategy, building on a historical 96% pass rate without promising any outcome.

Yes. The preparation runs live online, so you can join from anywhere with a laptop or phone and a stable internet connection. The only physical campus is in Kaloor, Ernakulam, but DALF exam preparation does not require you to attend in person.

It depends on your goal — advanced university programmes and some professional and residence routes expect DALF C1 or C2, while many undergraduate and work routes accept B2. A free assessment maps your target to the right DALF level so your preparation aims at the exact credential you need.
